ARLG Eastern Visit to Norwich libraries

Two parallel pathways to either Norwich City or Norwich Research Park Libraries

Join the ARLG Eastern committee on one of two parallel visits of academic research libraries either in the City or Norwich Research Park (UEA campus).

Pathway A - A half-day visit to a vibrant creative arts university library (NUA), a Cathedral Library and a specialist research collection relating to 2nd Air Division in World War II, plus a Norfolk Heritage Centre inside one of the most successful public libraries in the UK.

Pathway B - A half-day visit to a research park university library (UEA), a contemporary literary Archives collection, and a specialist botanical and plant sciences research collection in the John Innes Centre.

Tour starts at 14:00 at  UEA Library Reception UEA Library

Transport links - Buses (25/26) run from Norwich rail station to City and UEA campus every 10 minutes. Plusbus rail tickets are accepted.

14:00 - Introduction to British Archive for Contemporary Literature and tour of UEA Library

15:00 - Visit to John Innes Historical Collections
