CIG visit to Shakespeare’s Globe Library & Archive

The Library & Archive at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is “a Performing Arts repository, specialising in Shakespeare in Performance”. Take a look at the wonderful breadth and depth of their collections - Archive collections, Library collections - and then sign up fast to secure a behind the scenes view tailored to cataloguers and metadata professionals.

The visit will be hosted by Rossella Black, Librarian, and will feature collection highlights, a presentation on cataloguing performance archives (and other collections) and future plans for collection integration.

Please note: the nature of the building completely prevents wheelchair access and in addition there are many stairs to negotiate.

This visit is free however numbers are limited to 15 places and priority booking will be given to CIG members.
