Lauren Smith

 

 

Lauren Smith is a doctoral researcher in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Strathclyde, where she is writing her thesis on young people’s experiences of political information, critical information literacy and political participation. Lauren is also the Social Media Officer and researcher for the Scottish Library and Information Council, the independent advisory body to the Scottish Government on library and information services, and works as an Independent Researcher on studies including the Learning, Lending, Liberty Project which is funded by the CILIP Information Literacy Group.
