HLISD aims to be the most comprehensive database of its kind.
Find it at http://www.hlisd.org/.
Currently there are just under 800 entries and over 1,000 contacts.
The information is updated by a network of editors who are responsible for checking the currency of their entries.
To contact us email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Funding for IT support and the coordinating editor is currently shared between HLG and LKSL.
The cost of ongoing updating is absorbed by the health library and information community.
If you are an editor and have access rights for updating the log in is http://www.hlisd.org/Admin.aspx. You will then be asked for your user name and password. Notes and FAQs for editors are online once you have logged in. Don't forget that as a Local Editor you can approve your entry once you have sent it for approval.
Please give us your views on HLISD (The Health Library and Information Services Directory)
HLISD will have been live for 10 years next July so we thought it would be a good time to ask you to evaluate it. HLISD grew from HLGs printed directory and incorporated the RCNs web directory. The partnership has changed over the years but HLG has continued to be one of the primary partners throughout that time and for the last few years HEE LKSL has been the primary funder.
We are at a point where it may be time to invest in a redevelopment and to check out with you whether you think new ideas for content should be incorporated.
So whether you are aware of HLISD or are a regular user, it would help us move forward if you could you fill in this survey. It should only take a few minutes.
Richard Osborn, Chairman, HLISD Board
