  • Library & Information History Journal

Library & Information History (formerly Library History) was established in 1967 under the aegis of the Library History Group of the Library Association (which merged with the Institute of Information Scientists in 2002 to form the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals). It is the only British periodical devoted exclusively to the history of libraries and librarianship and to the field of information history.

  • Newsletter

First issued in 1962/3, the Library and Information History Group newsletter appears three times a year. The winter issue is sent in hard-copy to our members and every issue is also available on the group’s website.
