The Candidate Support Officer (CSO) is an important source of support, information and advice to candidates following all three of CILIP's professional registration qualifications (Certification, Chartership and Fellowship). The only requirement to be a CSO is that you have undertaken either Chartership or Fellowship.
The main duties consist of providing:
- Introductory and Portfolio building courses specifically relating to CILIP's Framework of Qualifications.
- Support for Certification, Chartership and Revalidation candidates.
- Impartial advice to candidates.
- Reading submissions.
- Contact through Candidate Support Officer Network of local CSOs.
