UKeiG is pleased to announce a series of free annual lectures associated with the prestigious Tony Kent Strix Award for information retrieval. Each year the previous year's winner will be invited to talk and answer questions about their research.
These lectures should be of interest to all archive, records, information or knowledge managers, developers and researchers concerned with search and the retrieval of information.
The 2017 Lecture will be given by Professor Maristella Agosti, winner of the 2016 Award, at the Geological Society during the afternoon of Friday 20th October.
Details and Booking
The events are free but we do ask those planning to attend to register. This will enable badges to be prepared and planning to accommodate appropriate numbers.
The event will include a discussion and some time for refreshments and networking.
